Tanks Markets Buskers Application

Can you see yourself in the spotlight? Buskers contribute to the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the Tanks Markets and Council welcome the opportunity for local entertainers to perform at each monthly market.       

Buskers are encouraged to perform from 1 – 5 hours at the markets at the Tanks Arts Centre precinct, in Collins Avenue, Edge Hill. There is no cost to busk at the monthly markets.

Cairns Regional Council – Information Privacy Statement

Cairns Markets busking terms and conditions

  1. Buskers are required to comply with Cairns Regional Council’s Cairns Markets Terms and Conditions where applicable.

  2. Buskers must maintain Public Liability Insurance for the term of the markets to the value of $20,000,000 noting Cairns Regional Council as an interested party.

  3. Cancellations: Once an allocated busking site has been accepted the busker is required to advise Council of their cancellation at their earliest convenience.

  4. Cairns Regional Council reserves the right to cancel market days. In this circumstance, Cairns Regional Council will advise buskers as soon as possible.

  5. Buskers must comply with any local, Queensland and Federal Government directives and advice. These are subject to change without notice.
