Cairns Regional Council - Public Data Access request form

Introduction

This Form may be used to acquire and purchase current data and information held by Council for:

  1. Traffic Count Data;

  2. Boundary Conditions of the Water Network;

  3. Flood Studies.

  4. Sewerage Planning Reports.

  5. Supply of Digital Data for Flood Modelling

  6. Supply of Digital Data for Sewer Modelling

  7. Supply of Digital Data for Water Modelling

In some instances, traffic count data and drainage management plans and other data may not be available for the requested location. If this is the case, you will be advised in writing.

All requests are sought to be accepted and processed within 10 business days from the date of payment of the relevant fee.

Traffic Count Data

Payment for Traffic Data will be confirmed before release of the data. In instances where no traffic data exists, you will be advised in writing and no charge will be applied for that part of the request.

Costs are applied to each available tube count.

The costs to acquire the data are found in the Cairns Regional Council Adopted Fees and Charges Schedule – Administrative Services under 'Strategic Infrastructure Planning'.

Boundary Conditions of the Water Network

There is no fee for requesting boundary condition information.

Requests for Boundary conditions will not be accepted until a Hydrant test is completed and the results available.


Flood Studies

Payment for Drainage Management Plans or the CBD Flood Studies will be confirmed before release of the data. In instances where no Drainage Management Plan exists, you will be advised in writing and no charge will be applied for that part of the request.

There is no fee for the Supply of Digital Data. A Signed Digital Data Supply Agreement will be required from you before we issue the Data. A copy of this will be provided to you after receipt of this request.
